SHA BOARD OF DIRECTORS MINUTES
APRIL 2000

Minutes of the 4/24/00 Board Meeting

Persons in attendance:
Wray Gillette, Sharon LeDuc, David Smith, Don Collum,
Diane Lahti, Steve Boase

Steve Boase, our Stonehenge webmaster, was introduced to the group and thanked for his significant contribution to our neighborhood. Steve asked for suggestions on appearance and content from the board. We still need a map to go on the website and desire to have a map which lists lot numbers to correspond with covenant information. Diane Lahti obtained copies of all 16 Stonehenge covenants from Arthur Sandman's office which will be put on the website. It was suggested that information on the Greystone pool be added to the website as well as a list of school board members, elected officials, and polling places. It was also suggested that a page be added specifically for landscaping information.

A discussion was held regarding promoting the benefits of membership in the newsletter and it was suggested that an article about this be put in the next newsletter.

Sharon LeDuc presented budget information. Our membership is ahead of last year when it is considered that some of this year's membership dues were collected in the fall of last year. Our present bank balance is $9,880.14.

Sharon told the group that our current landscaper has notified us that they will no longer maintain our signs. It was suggested that an advertisement for a replacement be put in the newsletter and on the website. Sharon suggested that we obtain solar lights for the signs to aid visibility as well as reflective paint. Diane announced that there would be a sign workday on May 6. (Note: Sharon and Diane weeded at all signs on April 29 and David and Diane repainted signs on Howard Road on May 6. Total cost for paint and brushes was about $40.)

Wray presented information about pool parties after talking to Todd McClung, co-manager. Todd suggested we consider a Luau, Tacky Party, or wine-tasting party since these had been used in the past. Either of the lower pools can be rented starting at 6:30. It was decided that we should have an ice-cream social/pool night starting at 6 on June 23. (Question: has this date been reserved?) Wray volunteered to check on available dates in July for another party. Two party themes were discussed-an Olympics party (family races, etc.) and an adult party. Nothing was decided during the meeting.

A decision was made to use Denis Hasenaur's printing company to do the newsletter this time. A reminder was made that more carriers are needed.

The next meeting was set for May 22.

Respectfully submitted,
Diane Lahti
